We want to see your marriage and family thrive!
Deon Reed leads Relationality Counseling as Chief Executive Officer, setting the vision, direction, and growth strategy for a practice built on one conviction: healthy relationships change everything. He oversees business operations, partnerships, and the long-term expansion of the practice so that more individuals, couples, and families across Texas have access to counseling that honors both clinical excellence and faith.
His leadership is rooted in the therapy room. Deon holds a Master of Science in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy, and he serves as a Marriage & Family Therapist Associate and Qualified Mental Health Professional. As an EMDR-trained clinician, he has walked with clients through trauma, anxiety, and the kind of pain that quietly shapes how people love and connect. That work shapes every decision he makes for the practice, from who joins the team to how care is delivered.
Deon's clinical approach draws on Gottman Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and EMDR. Colleagues and clients alike describe him as warm, grounded, and action-oriented, the kind of presence that makes hard conversations feel possible.
Beyond the practice, Deon is committed to community education and mental health advocacy, supporting efforts that reduce stigma and widen access to quality care.
Deon is not currently accepting new clients. He is focused on building a team of skilled, compassionate clinicians who share the Relationality mission.

Bridgette Reed is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate, EMDR-trained trauma therapist, author, and entrepreneur dedicated to strengthening marriages, families, and communities through both faith-based and evidence-based counseling practices. Serving clients throughout Dallas–Fort Worth and across Texas virtually, Bridgette believes seeking therapy is an act of courage and vulnerability. She is committed to providing a safe, compassionate “no shame, no guilt” space where individuals and couples can heal, grow, and thrive.
As a therapist, Bridgette specializes in marriage and family therapy, integrating the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples rebuild trust, deepen emotional intimacy, and resolve conflict with empathy. She is also EMDR-trained (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and uses this trauma-informed approach to help clients process painful memories, reduce emotional distress, and experience long-term relief from anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms. Clients who participate in EMDR therapy often report feeling calmer, more empowered, and more present in their relationships and daily lives.
For individual therapy, Bridgette combines EMDR, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and attachment-based approaches to address the lasting impact of formative experiences. Her areas of expertise include trauma recovery, anxiety, depression, premarital counseling, and couples therapy. Bridgette holds a degree in Sociology from Michigan State University and a Master of Science in Counseling (with high honors) from Walden University. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Social Psychology at Liberty University.
Together with her husband, Deon Reed, who is also an EMDR-trained Marriage & Family Therapist, Bridgette co-founded Relationality Counseling, a Dallas-based practice offering virtual and in-person therapy for couples and families. Through workshops, retreats, and online resources, the Reeds help couples pursue one another with renewed passion, communication, and purpose. They also host “Family Fridays”, a weekly online prayer and connection experience for couples and families seeking faith-centered encouragement.
Beyond her therapy practice, Bridgette is a published author and speaker whose work bridges psychology, spirituality, and practical relationship tools. Her debut devotional, RELEASE: 90 Days to Embrace God’s Plan for Your Life, reached readers worldwide, followed by Bold, Fierce & Transformed, featured on FOX Good Day, ABC Good Morning Texas, and other major outlets. Her forthcoming devotional for couples will be published by Zondervan | HarperCollins Christian Publishing.
A passionate community leader, she has partnered with over 200 national brands—including Toyota, Baby Dove, Walmart, Pampers, Disney Jr., and Crayola—to positively impact families across the nation.
Bridgette’s life and work are anchored in her belief that true transformation begins in the home. She and Deon live in the Dallas–Fort Worth area with their two children and their beloved dog, Ruby, continuing their mission to help families heal and thrive through faith, love, and evidence-based care.
